This class teaches the basics of Tarot: the meanings of the 56 Lesser Trumps, the meanings of the 22 Greater Trumps, the Celtic Cross layout and the meanings of each position in the layout. Kate teaches from the Rider-Waite deck, but any deck favored by the student may be used. Students must provide their own deck of Tarot cards (available for about $18 at Ancient Mysteries, Whole Life Books, Book People, many bookstores) and bring $1.00 to cover the cost of handouts to the first class meeting.Registration may be done in-person or on-line.
