Fees and Charges as of 1/1/09 
In-person at Kate's home office:
     30 minutes = $50.00
     45 minutes = $65.00
     60 minutes = $80.00
Kate's telephone readings:
     15 minutes = $30.00
     30 minutes = $55.00
     45 minutes = $70.00
     60 minutes - $85.00
All pricing includes state sales tax and a cassette tape of the reading that the client keeps.
Payment to Kate Braun is made by cash, check, or money order only, no credit or debit cards, please.  There is a $10.00 fee assessed for a check returned for any reason.
In-person readings are paid for at the conclusion of the reading.  Phone readings for those currently on Kate's mailing list have a due date of 14 days (not 14 business days) from the date of the reading, unless otherwise stipulated by Kate at the time of the reading.  If Kate has not received the payment by the stated due date, there will be a $10.00 late fee also due. 
Phone readings for new clients require half the amount be paid in advance, this amount being non-refundable.  The balancewill be due within 14 business days of the date of the reading, unless otherwise stipulated by Kate at the time of the reading.
Kate is available for your party or other celebration at an hourly rate of $100.00/hr, 1-hour minimum, payment in cash or by check at the end of the event.  In addition to Tarot, Kate's skills in Hand-Scans and Rune-Castings and her interpretation of the Bach Flower-Essence Cards and the influence of the 3 outer-most planets at the time of your birth can also entertain your guests.  It is not possible to provide tapes of individual readings at parties or other celebrations.

Current Retrogrades 
 Mars:  12/20/09 - 3/10/10 
A Mars retrograde gives us all a "shorter fuse", making it easier to get angry.  I urge you to not let someone else's anger feed your own.  There is no need to grow a molehill into a volcano.  If you step away from anger, if you refuse to react angrily to another's anger, you should be fine. 

 

Mercury: 12/26/09 - 1/15/10  Combined with the Mars retrograde, this Mercury retrograde could generate some difficult energies.  Remember that a Mercury retrograde creates complications with communication, transportation, and all things electronic (computers, cell phones, brains), so if you mis-speak yourself and someone overreacts to that, don't buy into the anger but diffuse it by saying "I'm sorry, I think I said 'left' when I meant to say 'right'", or whatever the right words are.  Take the time to check directions, read all the fine print carefully. 

  Vesta: 1/4/10 - 4/5/10  Vesta is an asteroid managing energies of home and hearth.  When she retrogrades, she brings the possibility of over-extending hospitality, which can result in fatigue, which can lead to general grumpiness, which isn't helped by the Mars retrograde.  Best to take it easy on the entertaining until Vesta goes direct. 
Saturn:  1/13/10 - 5/30/10  One of the outer planets, Saturn moves slowly whether direct or retrograde.  He brings feelings of heaviness, blockages, obstacles, difficulties.  Saturn retrograde is when things happen slowly.  Slower than we would prefer.  But perseverance furthers.  Keep  on working toward the goals you set, just keep an open mind as to when you will achieve resolution.

Retrograde cycles regularly repeat in our lives; the doomy-gloomy feelings that can be a by-product of them need not drag us down into the depths of despair.  Just as there are times for recognizing and celebrating all the things we do well and all our successes, there needs to also be a time to be brutally honest with ourselves and recognize the areas that need improvement.  If we never paid attention to our  weaknesses, we would never have the opportunity to grow them into strengths.  I recommend that you seize this opportunity to study your Self, note where improvements are needed, and then start to make those improvements.
